Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using advanced dental equipment
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/materials following OSHA protocols
- Take digital dental radiographs and diagnostic images
- Manage patient flow and documentation via Eaglesoft software
- Perform chairside assistance and four-handed dentistry
- Administer infection control protocols and sterilization processes
- Coordinate treatment planning and patient education
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-recognized)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems (Schick/DEXIS)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and OSHA standards
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures efficiently
- Experience with Eaglesoft/Eaglesoft Practice Management software
