Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as assigned.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse or office.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients to reduce loneliness and improve quality of life.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with mobility using proper techniques.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- CNA, HHA, or CMA certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, kind demeanor.
- Ability to pass a physical exam to demonstrate the ability to perform the duties of the job.
