Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Companionship: Engage clients in conversation, hobbies, and recreational activities to promote mental well-being.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping duties, including meal preparation and laundry, ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Medication Management: Remind clients to take prescribed medications and report any changes in health to the nursing supervisor.
- Clinical Tasks: Monitor vital signs and report any medical concerns promptly.
- Communication: Maintain clear and open communication with families and healthcare professionals regarding client progress.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; CNA or PCA certification is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in home health or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory for enthusiastic candidates.
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Certifications: Current BLS/First Aid certification preferred.
- Character: Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor with a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Must be available for shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
