Your Role
Our ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and eager to provide exceptional care. You will build lasting relationships with our clients while assisting them with daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Assist with light housekeeping and laundry related to client care.
- Administer medication under the supervision of a registered nurse or as required by state regulations.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with transportation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus but not always required.
- Valid Florida Driverβs License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (we can provide training).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Experience in home health or elderly care is highly valued.
