Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary needs.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the nursing team.
- Light housekeeping and laundry duties as assigned to ensure a safe living environment.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
- Administer medication reminders under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (but not strictly required for entry-level).
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus but we offer training.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality.
- Willingness to learn and follow strict care plans.
- Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility if necessary.
