Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough telephone and video triage assessments for diverse patient populations
- Collaborate with physicians to determine appropriate care pathways and interventions
- Document patient encounters accurately in our EMR system while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Provide health education and guidance to patients regarding symptoms and treatment options
- Manage urgent care protocols and escalate critical cases per established guidelines
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Colorado (compact license preferred)
- 3+ years clinical experience in emergency, urgent care, or telehealth nursing
- BLS certification with ACLS preferred
- Exceptional critical thinking and assessment skills
- Proven ability to work independently in remote environments
- Experience with Epic or similar EMR systems
- Strong communication skills with diverse populations
