Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Administer medication reminders and document care logs accurately.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry as assigned to maintain a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and engage in conversation to reduce isolation.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
- Monitor client health and report any changes to the care team immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
