Responsibilities
- Assess patient calls using clinical judgment to determine urgency and appropriate care level
- Provide accurate medical advice and guidance to patients via telephone
- Document all interactions in the electronic health record system with precision
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on symptoms, home care, and when to seek emergency care
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance in all communications
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (ER/urgent care preferred)
- BLS certification (must be current)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
