Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce isolation and loneliness.
- Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation according to dietary restrictions.
- Help clients with mobility issues, including walking and transferring to and from bed or wheelchair.
- Administer medication reminders and track daily intake as directed by the supervisor.
- Monitor clients' physical and mental condition and report any changes or concerns to the office immediately.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and social activities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred, or willing to obtain upon hire.
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or nursing assistance is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with people of all ages.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and respectful demeanor.
