Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, to ensure client comfort and hygiene.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Administer medication reminders and assist with light medical tasks as authorized.
- Foster a warm, safe, and engaging environment through companionship and conversation.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and changing linens.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social events, or errands.
- Monitor client well-being and promptly report any changes in condition or concerns to the case manager.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or Personal Care Assistant is a plus.
