Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide personal care support such as toileting, incontinence care, and medication reminders.
- Monitor and report changes in client health, mood, or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using provided medical equipment (wheelchairs, walkers).
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping related to client care.
- Accurately document daily care logs and incident reports in compliance with company policies.
- Engage clients in social activities and conversation to promote mental well-being.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; CNA or Home Health Aide certification is a plus.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods as needed.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Previous experience in home health or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
