In this role, you will provide exceptional personal care and emotional support, helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes, accidents, or symptoms to the nursing staff immediately.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate daily care logs.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assist with mobility aids (wheelchairs, walkers).
Qualifications
- Current CNA or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification is preferred but not always required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
