Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and maintaining personal hygiene.
- Mobility Support: Help clients move safely around their home, including transferring to and from bed or wheelchair.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary restrictions and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Medication Reminders: Prompt clients to take prescribed medications on time (under the supervision of a nurse).
- Companionship: Engage in conversation, play games, or accompany clients on walks to reduce isolation.
- Household Tasks: Light housekeeping, laundry, and running errands as requested by the client.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification is a plus (training provided if needed).
- Previous experience as a CNA, PCA, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Assistant is highly desirable.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine, caring demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
