Responsibilities
- Provide personalized companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care team
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain safe living environments
- Administer medications and follow care plans accurately
- Document client care activities and maintain detailed records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or relevant training
- CNA certification preferred (not required)
- Valid Nebraska driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Ability to pass comprehensive background checks
- Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to assist with transfers and mobility
- Basic knowledge of senior care best practices
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
