Responsibilities
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed by a nurse.
- Companionship: Engage clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and outings to reduce isolation and promote mental well-being.
- Meal Assistance: Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding clients who require it.
- Household Support: Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and laundry to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Documentation: Accurately record daily care logs and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the Care Manager immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in home care, nursing assistance, or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
- Certification: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or HHA (Home Health Aide) certification is a plus.
- License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required for this position.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Character: A warm, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Background: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
