Responsibilities
- Provide personalized care including assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with special dietary requirements
- Administer medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping and meal preparation duties
- Companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life
- Document care activities and maintain accurate client records
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience (home care or facility)
- Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid Alaska driver's license and reliable transportation
- Pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical care tasks
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable work ethic
- Clear communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
