Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs as per care plans
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Companionship services including conversation, light housekeeping, and errands
- Maintain detailed care logs and communicate client status to families and supervisors
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and agency protocols
Qualifications
- Active Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or Home Care Aide certification
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Georgia driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly clients
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
