Responsibilities
- Perform clinical procedures including EKGs, vital signs, injections, and phlebotomy
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and manage inventory
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Accurately document patient information in EHR systems (Epic experience preferred)
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule management
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active CMA or RMA certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation protocols
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Athena, or NextGen)
