Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment logistics
- Administer medications and injections as directed
- Assist with basic laboratory tests and specimen processing
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and clinical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ohio BLS certification required
- Experience with pediatric or geriatric populations preferred
