Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical procedures
- Administer medications and vaccines following established protocols
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and inventory management
- Coordinate patient education and post-visit follow-ups
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active MA certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in Epic or similar EMR systems
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with venipuncture and ECG procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts including occasional weekends
