Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Accurately document patient histories and electronic health records
- Perform clinical tasks including EKGs, injections, and wound care
- Manage inventory and maintain sterile examination environments
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Assist with lab specimen collection and processing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for seamless patient experiences
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Spanish bilingual skills highly desirable
- High school diploma or equivalent required
