Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, take vital signs, and document medical histories
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and diagnostic testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision and confidentiality
- Coordinate patient scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification
- Administer injections, medications, and wound care under provider supervision
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory of medical supplies
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance and medical terminology
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment
