Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy with precision and care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
- Schedule appointments and manage patient correspondence
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Ensure exam rooms are stocked, sanitized, and compliant with OSHA standards
- Coordinate patient education materials and follow-up care plans
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or similar)
- Ohio CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently in high-volume settings
- Valid Ohio driver's license (if required for travel between sites)
