Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and licensed practical nurses.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment to prevent infection and ensure safety.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions, concerns, and changes in status.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, and range-of-motion exercises as prescribed.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by licensed staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Colorado required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
