Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist nurses with clinical procedures and equipment operation
- Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and treatment areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and safety concerns
- Support patient education and discharge planning activities
Qualifications
- Active Ohio CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Electronic medical record (EMR) proficiency
- Commitment to patient-centered care excellence
