Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and medical records
- Assist with mobility transfers and position changes
- Support infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid TB test and physical examination
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights/weekends
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
