Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure comfort and understanding.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in accordance with facility standards.
- Document patient care plans and progress notes in the electronic medical record system.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Nevada State CNA license required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be maintained.
- Previous experience in long-term care or home health care is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor under pressure.
