Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Administer medications and document all treatments, observations, and patient interactions accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team regarding patient status and concerns.
Qualifications
- Current and valid State of Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- CPR and BLS Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Computer proficiency for remote access to scheduling and documentation portals.
