Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Document patient care records and observations accurately and timely.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the RN/LPN.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license in Massachusetts.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate demeanor with a focus on patient care.
- Reliable transportation and proof of eligibility to work in the USA.
