Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility issues, including transferring patients safely from bed to wheelchair.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions.
- Document patient care activities and update medical records in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing team to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Michigan.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients safely.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for patient care.
