Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and health status accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist nurses and healthcare staff with medical procedures and treatments.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or activities.
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- Current, valid CNA certification in the state of Minnesota.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or nursing setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand/walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
