Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and grooming, ensuring dignity and comfort.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff immediately.
  • Provide basic hygiene care and assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and assistive devices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and address concerns.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in patient rooms and common areas in compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Support patients during meal times, ensuring proper nutrition and hydration while adhering to dietary restrictions.

Qualifications

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Texas.
