Responsibilities
- Perform routine patient vitals and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist providers during clinical procedures and treatments.
- Manage patient records and maintain Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments.
- Coordinate patient appointments and handle incoming calls professionally.
- Administer medications and perform basic lab tests as directed.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative teams to ensure efficient operations.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced hospital environment.
- Proficiency with computer systems and EMR software.
- Valid US work authorization.
