Responsibilities

  • Prepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
  • Take and record vital signs and medical histories accurately.
  • Administer injections, medications, and vaccinations as directed by providers.
  • Prepare and process laboratory specimens and perform basic diagnostic tests.
  • Manage patient intake, registration, and insurance verification efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) or completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
