Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Report changes in patient condition or symptoms to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Administer medications as directed by licensed nurses.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in good standing with the State of Texas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.
