Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist nurses and physicians with medical procedures and patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document patient care information accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current New York State CNA certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Compassionate and patient-centered attitude.
