Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Assist licensed nurses with medical procedures and transporting patients safely.
- Document patient care services and update medical records accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current State of Ohio CNA Certification is required.
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
