Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and basic clinical assessments.
- Assist physicians and nurses with examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical equipment.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and hospital protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or RMA is preferred.
- Current RN or LPN license in New York State.
- BLS/ACLS certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
