Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking as needed.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Document patient care activities and observations accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or willingness to obtain one.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn electronic charting systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- CPR certification preferred or required upon hire.
