Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Communicate patient changes in condition or needs to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Support patients with mobility issues using wheelchairs, walkers, or hoyer lifts safely.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or eligibility to obtain one required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
