Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide direct care to patients, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and record patient vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Maintain patient hygiene and ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient needs and changes in condition to the nursing staff and physicians.
- Documentation: Accurately complete patient charts, logs, and reports as required by hospital policy.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Emergency Support: Respond to patient needs and assist in emergency situations as directed by the charge nurse.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are looking for motivated individuals with a strong desire to learn.
- License: Must be willing to obtain CNA certification or Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients, and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Compassion: Genuine empathy and a patient-first attitude are essential.
