Responsibilities
- Provide daily assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Document patient care accurately and timely
- Support mobility and transfer assistance
- Respond to resident call lights promptly
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
Qualifications
- Illinois CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain within 60 days)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly care
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Willingness to complete paid orientation/training
