Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Prepare and serve meals according to specific dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility and light physical support to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient care records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff and family members regarding patient status and needs.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (or currently enrolled in a CNA program with expected graduation date).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable transportation for client visits (where applicable).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
