Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or LPN.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and responses to treatment accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- Current Louisiana CNA or LPN license in good standing.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS certification preferred for LPN roles.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is highly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
