What You Will Do
As a CNA, you will be the heart of our patient care team. Your daily responsibilities will include assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for everyone in our care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely from beds to wheelchairs or walkers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Follow infection control protocols and safety regulations strictly.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient conditions and needs.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required; Entry Level candidates with relevant healthcare experience are encouraged to apply.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented attitude.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the job, including lifting and moving patients.
