What You'll Do
As a vital member of our nursing team, you will provide direct care to patients in a long-term care setting. Your compassion and dedication will directly impact the quality of life for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Assist with feeding and hydration as directed by the nursing staff.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or behavior to the Charge Nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Document all care provided accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA Certification issued by the State of Oklahoma.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver's license and current auto insurance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient transfers.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy is preferred.
