Responsibilities
- Provide basic bedside care to residents in accordance with established nursing care plans.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor residents' health status, including reporting changes in condition, mood, or behavior to the nursing staff.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Document patient care services accurately in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Current CNA certification (State of Arizona Board of Nursing required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not required for new hires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate attitude and a desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
