Your Role
You will be responsible for providing basic patient care under the supervision of registered nurses. If you are a caring individual looking for a stable and rewarding career in healthcare, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary restrictions are met.
- Document patient care services and changes in patient condition in medical records accurately.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and requests for assistance.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure continuity and quality of patient care.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Virginia.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift patients as required.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to learn electronic health record systems.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
