Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in acute care settings with compassion and clinical excellence
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Monitor patient vitals, document electronic health records (EHR), and report changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety audits
Qualifications
- Active Maryland RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (ICU/ER preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification; ACLS/PALS highly desirable
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
