Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately measure and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Facilitate Communication: Act as a vital liaison between patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure holistic care and patient comfort.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document patient care activities, changes in condition, and services provided in compliance with facility protocols.
- Ensure Safety & Hygiene: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment, adhering to strict infection control and safety standards.
- Assist with Mobility: Support patients with walking, transferring, and positioning using proper body mechanics and equipment.
Qualifications
- CNA Certification: Valid and current Illinois State CNA certification is required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
- Experience: Previous healthcare experience is preferred, but we are actively hiring for Entry Level candidates who are eager to learn (on-the-job training provided).
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move patients weighing up to 250 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly preferred.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate, patient-centric approach.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate documentation.
